At My Easy Weight Loss, we begin every patient, who starts Tirzepatide, on a starting dosage of 2.5 mg compounded with B6.

This initial dosage is carefully selected to minimize potential side effects and to provide your body with the necessary time to adjust. For patients starting Semiglutide the starting dosage is .25 mg.

We work with you to adjust the dosage speed and duration, ensuring that you can stay at a lower doses for as long as possible while still achieving successful weight loss results.

Many patients are able to see results (after increased dosages over time) on the 5mg, 7.5 mg or 10 mg dosage of Tirzepatide.

You will also receive instructions from the pharmacy on how to inject the Tirzepatide. Injections are administered the same day every week. The injection is painless, and you will hardly feel anything-- a small prick at most. The medication should last 4-5 weeks.

Instructions:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly.

2. Take cap off of the vial.

3. Use alcohol pad to wipe top of the vial.

4. Use the alcohol pad to wipe the area you will inject. The best area to inject are the fleshy areas to the sides of your navel.

5. Take protective caps off of needle.

6. Before placing needle in top of vial, pull the syringe back to the measurement you need to inject. You will just be filling the syringe with air, but this will help to withdraw the right amount when you place needle in top of vial. Push out the air.

7. Place the needle into the top of the vial and withdraw the medication to the prescribed amount

8. Pinch your skin into a fold and stick the needle into your skin. Be careful not to put your thumb on the plunger before the needle goes into the skin. This will help prevent any of the medication from dribbling out of the needle before it is injected into your skin.

9. Plunge slowly so all medication is injected into the skin.

10. Pull needle out and discard needle with protective caps put back on the syringe.

You should follow the directions on your prescription label carefully. It is important to use this medicine exactly as directed.

Tirzepatide is a once-weekly injection, given on the same day every week.

It can be given with or without meals at any time of the day.

It may be injected into the thigh, abdomen, or upper arm.

You should rotate injection sites with each dose.
